Billy Duesler is an experienced baseball player/coach that has grown up and played in South Florida his entire life. He has even competed at a young age in tournaments in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. Billy played high school baseball for Cooper City High School. During his Junior and Senior years, he was named a captain of the team which was ranked in the top 10 nationally each year. They traveled across the country to play in invitational only national tournaments playing some of the best talent in the nation.
After high school, Billy chose to pursue a career as a firefighter/paramedic. Using the lessons he learned in baseball about hard work, mental toughness, teamwork, he was quickly risen through the ranks of Tamarac Fire Rescue where he now serves as a Battalion Chief.
While his playing days came to an end, his passion for baseball did not. His coaching career began as a coach for Pines Charter High School. He has been coaching rec baseball for West Boca Youth baseball and travel baseball for West Boca Panthers for the past 6 years. He also serves on the board for West Boca Youth Baseball and is a Minors Division Coordinator. He has a passion for teaching the game of baseball to young players and has taken his intrapersonal skills learned from the many years as a firefighter to mold and inspire these growing children. You will never see Billy talking down to the children, everything is a learning opportunity and negative yelling is simply not a tool he finds effective. Through camaraderie, confidence building and specifical technical training with each practice your child is guaranteed to have a positive experience under his training.
Eric Armour was a dedicated ballplayer whose career reflects talent, discipline, and achievement at every level of the game.
Eric began his high school career at Wellington Community High School, where he quickly made his mark as a standout player and leader on the field. His performance earned national recognition as a true 5-tool player, showcasing his ability to hit for average, hit for power, run, field, and throw at an elite level. This complete skillset led to him being drafted out of high school by the Cleveland Indians.
Continuing his development, Eric went on to compete at the collegiate level with Palm Beach State College, where he further refined his game and competed against elite-level talent. His strong play once again drew professional attention, and he was drafted out of college by the Milwaukee Brewers.
Throughout his journey, Eric was recognized for his work ethic, competitive spirit, and ability to perform under pressure. His career path — from standout high school athlete, to collegiate competitor, to MLB draft pick — highlights both his passion for the game and his proven ability to succeed at the highest levels.
Today, Eric is an experienced coach within the West Boca youth baseball program, dedicated to growing young men into not only skilled baseball players but also strong individuals, instilling life skills, discipline, and a love for the game that lasts well beyond the field.
